YOHIO x GACKT

Last weekend my friends and I went to YOHIO's final concert in Stockholm. Not to see him but to see GACKT, haha, who was the guest star of the show.
The concert was actually boring and.. I don't know.. laughable I guess? It's just not my cup of tea. I think the atmosphere itself ruined it for me. I was surrounded by glittery-pinkish 12 year olds who screamed and cried as soon as YOHIO opened his mouth. I'm used to head banging and sweaty, half-naked, sexy Japanese men screaming profanity and spraying you wet with water from their mouths.

But still, I don't regret going. It was great to meet up with old friends again and to see GACKT live (for the 4th time, hehe) once more. Too bad my visit in Stockholm was short. I only stayed the night. God, I miss it already...

It was awesome to meet Aurora and Caroline again! They came all the way from Norway just to see Devil King Gackt  hahaha

The Devil is back

Jag är superglad! Jag har nyss nappat åt mig en biljett till YOHIOs konsert i Stockholm! Den enda anledningen till att jag går är för att hans så kallade mentor GACKT ska göra ett besök på konserten! Jag har beundrat GACKT i några år nu och sett han live tre gånger (jag är t.o.m. med i en av hans live dvd:er. Ser fan inte klok ut) så jag självklart missar jag inte den här chansen, haha.

Det ska bli riktigt kul att få träffa vänner man inte träffat på länge och samtidigt åka tillbaka till den delen av Sverige, där jag kommer ifrån, även om det bara är för en natt.

Translation: I am super happy! I've got tickets for YOHIO's concert in Stockholm in October! The only reason I'm going is because of GACKT though, who is making a special visit. I've been a fan of GACKT for a few years now and I've seen him live three times (I'm even in one of his live dvds. I look  crazy...). It's going to be lots of fun and I can't wait to see my friends! Some of them I haven't even met for like two years or so!

Look at me! Like a kid on Christmas Eve!

Last month I went to Keane's Strangeland concert in Stockholm! Let me tell you this, it was fantastic!! If you haven't heard their new album you should definitely do it now!

Sadly, I didn't know that photography was allowed during the gig so I didn't bring my camera. Luckily the person I went to had her camera with her. I hope she will send them to me soon because they were awesooooome~~!

INORAN

At the moment INORAN (ex LUNA SEA) is having an European tour called Seven Samurais. The tour began at the end of last month and its first destination happened to be Stockholm. I'd never really heard INORAN's songs before, or even knew who he was. The reason I went to his live was because of the bassist U:ZO. A hilarious guy and an INCREDIBLE bassist! He used to be the bassist of GACKT's band YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz, before they "split up".
U:ZO is like a manly version of me. End of story.

And speaking of which, here's a funny thing that happened before the gig:

"As we waited in the absolute heat I suddenly saw someone on the balcony a few meters away, I pinched Liza’s arm and tried not to squeal too loudly “…U:ZO..!!” He was wandering around the place totally relaxed, taking pictures of the fans below. Liza waved at him and he waved back and smirked at her to then disappear. I think we both died."

The gig itself was actually great (not including some problems with the microphone and speakers)! INORAN had a good voice and the other members played great! And U:ZO... He is a magician with a magical bass.
